I have tremendous independence.  My own car, my own place, my own money and my own job.  I have responsibilities, but they are my responsibilities and I hold myself accountable for them.  Generally, I come and go as I please.  No complaints.

Everyday I make the decision to keep my life from becoming one big Kari-fest.  I watch my thought life, my emotional life and my physical life to try to keep from becoming entirely bent-in on ME.  It can be hard and I offer no guarantees that there won’t be a posting or two that are a bit self-indulgent.  However, I’m really thankful that you’re here and reading this because you’ve joined me in my quest to become less about ME.
